Using SmARTscope to Apply For Funding: Arts Work Fund
Institute of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture
3015 W Division, Chicago

The Arts Work Fund assists small arts and culture organizations to develop sustainable organizational capacity. Grant funded projects may take a variety of forms, each tailored specifically to the organization receiving the award.

Join Marcia Festen, Director of the Arts Work Fund, to learn more about the grant application process and guidelines.

Following Ms. Festen’s presentation, Dimitra Tasiouras, Alliance Board Member and Director of Programs at the Illinois Humanities Council, will discuss how Core Members can use their smARTscope reports to apply for the Arts Work Fund grant. Each of the 20 Core Members that have participated in smARTscope since 2007 hold valuable reports that contain concrete suggestions on how they can strengthen their organizational and management capacity. These suggestions often correlate well with the funding guidelines of the Arts Work Fund.

You must attend with your smARTscope report and have recently reviewed it prior to the workshop. If you cannot access your report, please contact Rebeccah Sanders.

Please note that all current smARTscope participants must attend this workshop as part of the program requirements.

We suggest that you send more than one representative to this workshop.

Learn more about the Arts Work Fund and their funding guidelines before you register to attend!
