Win prizes by answering questions themed around Irish history\, culture\, music\, writing\, and more!\nCustomize and design your very own pub coaster to enhance the ambiance of your at-home Irish Pub.\nHunt for hidden creatures in the Leprechaun Hunt and win a special prize for completing it.\nGrab an Irish pub-inspired poem from our friends at Poems While You Wait.\nEnjoy beer\, wine\, and the night’s specialty cocktail\, the Tipsy Cow\, a fiery Irish whiskey cocktail. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with this unbelievable show! Chicago favorites The Screaming Orphans will be in the Mayfair Theatre at the Irish American Heritage Center on Sunday\, March 17th! \nScreaming Orphans\, a genre-breaking\, chart topping all sister band from Donegal\, Ireland\, are known worldwide for their award-winning sound\, combining their original pop songs with a unique take on traditional Irish music. The band have toured globally and recorded with the likes of Sinead O’Connor\, Peter Gabriel\, The Chieftains\, Joni Mitchell and World music star Baaba Maal. Screaming Orphans have released 15 albums and have topped Billboard\, iTunes Pop\, Singer/Songwriter and World Music charts. \nDon’t miss the opportunity to see these superstars! DESCRIPTION:Easter is just around the corner\, and what better way to celebrate than by diving into the beautiful tradition of Pisanki\, or Polish egg decorating! Join us on Saturday\, March 23\, 2024\, for an immersive workshop led by the talented instructor Christine Frankowicz-Burd. \n\n\n\n\nDuring this two-hour session starting at 10:00 a.m.\, you’ll learn the intricate techniques of Pisanki at the Polish Museum of America\, located at 984 North Milwaukee Avenue\, Chicago. The workshop will take place in the PRCUA Social Hall on the First Floor. \nThe registration fee is $25\, which includes the cost of stylus and wax. Don’t forget to bring along 3-4 raw eggs to unleash your creativity! \nMuseum admission is complimentary for each paid participant on the day of the workshop\, in addition to free parking! \nThis event is open to participants aged 10 and above.
