DESCRIPTION:Peace Day brings together communities and cultures as a vital step towards building peace in Chicago and the world. The interactive World Peace Flag Ceremony accompanied by world music gives every audience member a voice as 193 beautiful country flags are presented by flag bearers (many in traditional dress) as we call out Peace for each country. Enjoy moving cultural performances\, inspiring speakers and the opportunity to network with organizations and individuals committed to making peace a priority everyday. We want to highlight organizations working for positive change locally and globally.
