A Musical Celebration with Rachel Barton Pine & Alistair McCulloch

Chicago Scots invite you to a musical celebration of Robert Burns featuring Rachel Barton Pine in performance with Alistair McCulloch on the “Gregg Violin” on its first U.S. tour from Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Ayrshire, Scotland with poetry and toasts by Gus Noble, president, Chicago Scots.

Learn about Robert Burns the ‘ploughman poet’ who achieved world-wide fame for such noted works as Auld Lang Syne and Tam O’Shanter. Opening remarks from Gus Noble, President, Chicago Scots and David Hopes, Head of Collections and Interiors at the National Trust for Scotland, formerly the Director of the Trust’s Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.
