Pysanka “Ukrainian Easter Egg” Workshop

A unique attribute of Ukrainian culture is the Pysanka – Easter egg, created throughout centuries in Ukraine and the diaspora. Now you will have the chance to participate in the art of Pysanka writing by attending one of the workshops at the Ukrainian National Museum on either March 4, 11, 18, or 25, 2023. Anna Chychula, a well-known Pysanka artist in Chicago, will teach the classes. Hurry and make your reservation for the workshop; only 15 students per class. Enjoy the miracle of creating a Pysanka with your hands, partake in the atmosphere of serenity, and meditate for victory in Ukraine. Last year Ms. Chyhcula’s Pysanka – Easter egg was exhibited in the Field Museum, showcasing resilience and support for Ukraine.
