He is the author of 25 books for both adults and young readers. His works include novels\, non-fiction\, and poetry. His topics encompass a wide scope from inner psychological tensions to environmental issues. Several of his books have been translated into English as well as other languages. He is also a successful publisher and since 2013\, he has been serving as the chair of the Association of Czech Booksellers and Publishers.
