The Archives Crawl is a monthly member program offering a behind-the-scenes look at the archives and museum collections of Chicago Cultural Alliance member organizations.
Since 2022, the Chicago Cultural Alliance has explored the archives of our Core Members to bring forward treasures the general public does not typically see. While these tours are not open to the public, they provide members a unique opportunity to experience collections in a more intimate and informal setting.
The CCA facilitates regular Archives Crawls in which members open their archives and collections to colleagues across cultural institutions. These visits are designed not only to highlight collections but also to build a cohort of archives and collections professionals, both archivists and collections managers who can learn from one another, share practices, ask questions, and strengthen connections across the network.
If you would like to know more about the Archives Crawls, please contact our Interim Director of Programs, Marisol Kelly.
