The Gichigamiin Indigenous Nations Museum is the only museum in the Chicagoland area that focuses exclusively on the history, culture, and arts of the North American native people.

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday 12 to 4 p.m.

The Latvian Folk Art Museum joined the Chicago Cultural Alliance, an umbrella organization for ethnic museums and cultural centers in Chicago. Through this organization, Museum volunteers share their experience with other ethnic museum staff and help popularize Latvian folk art among non-Latvians in Chicago.
